Terms of Use

Effective date: July 8, 2026

Welcome to Wedwale. These terms govern your use of wedwale.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What Wedwale is

  • Wedwale is an online marketplace that helps couples discover and connect with wedding vendors across North America. We list vendor profiles, provide planning tools, and pass enquiries from couples to vendors.
  • Wedwale is a connection service only. We are not a party to any agreement between a couple and a vendor. We do not provide wedding services ourselves.

2. Vendor relationships

  • All bookings, contracts, payments, and deliverables are strictly between the couple and the vendor. Wedwale does not guarantee vendor availability, pricing, quality of work, or performance.
  • Prices shown on Wedwale are starting prices provided by vendors and may change. Always confirm pricing and details directly with the vendor before booking.
  • We review vendor applications before listing, but we do not verify licences, insurance, or certifications. Do your own due diligence before signing any contract or paying any deposit.

3. Your account

  • You can browse Wedwale without an account. Signing in with Google lets you save planning data across devices.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your Google account secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Wedwale.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download vendor or user data.
  • Do not submit false enquiries, fake applications, or spam.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security measures or access data that is not yours.
  • Do not use Wedwale for anything unlawful.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts and listings that violate these rules, at our discretion.

5. Vendor listings

  • Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information, photos, and pricing.
  • By applying to list your business, you confirm you have the right to use all content you submit and you grant Wedwale permission to display it on the platform.
  • We may edit listings for formatting, decline applications, or remove listings at any time.

6. Planning tools

  • Guest lists, budgets, checklists, shortlists, and vision boards are provided as free tools to help you plan. They are provided as-is. Keep your own backup of information that is critical to your wedding.

7. Intellectual property

  • The Wedwale name, logo, design, and content belong to Wedwale. Vendor photos and content belong to the respective vendors. Do not reuse either without permission.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • Wedwale is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wedwale is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your dealings with vendors, including cancelled bookings, unsatisfactory services, or payment disputes.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to 100 CAD.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Privacy

  • Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it. By using Wedwale you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and termination

  • We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
  • We may modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

11. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
